Interior design - house.

This 144 m2 underground troglodyte house, located in Morocco, was designed with the intention to preserve the panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains and utilize the natural insulation and coolness of underground spaces for energy efficiency. A primary challenge was achieving a balance between comfort indoors and outdoors while ensuring adequate light and ventilation through strategically placed "patios".

To optimize natural light and freshness, a "T" shaped patio was incorporated into the design. This patio acts as a central node, connecting three distinct living areas: the living area (including the living room and office), the private area (comprising the bedroom, closet, and bathroom), and the dining area (encompassing the kitchen and outdoor space).

Glass pane sliding doors enclose these external areas, with sliding panels allowing for complete openness when desired, facilitating fluid circulation between spaces.

Embodying a predominantly Japandi style, which blends minimalist principles with neutral colors and natural materials, this design approach seamlessly combines functionality and aesthetic appeal, creating a sleek, modern, and trend-forward living environment.
